Heavy refurbishment of commercial space above 'live' retail units including the formation of new lift and stair cores, infilling of lightwell and the addition of a new floor on top.  After some delay whilst agreements were reached with the incumbent tenants, the works have finally started on site (February 2010) with completion in Summer 2011.

 

Challenge

 

Keeping the third busiest McDonalds in the country in operation on the ground floor whilst works proceed above them.
